FEATURING IN THIS MONTH’S ISSUE...

8 CLUB BOOK CONTENDER

36 A QUID’S WORTH OF AJAY
It wasn’t that long ago when a gallon of four star cost about 30p, you could get your brogues soled and heeled for 10p, and a belly full of ale and a fish and chip supper would set you back less than a fiver. Ah, happy days, but did you know, if you’re lucky, you can still get an AJS 500 for just 20p? Jim Reynolds samples the AMCOC raffle bike.

58 MR NORTON SPEAKS

Nevertheless, throughout the years of rape and pillage suffered by that once hallowed name, one man has stayed true to Norton. Jim Reynolds spent a while with Joe Seifert, the man they call ‘Mr Norton’.

64 A PROPER TRAIL BIKE
Though not as regularly seen today as in days of yore, but when you do see a sidecar outfit it’s usually a veritable behemoth towing an equally huge trailer. What you rarely see though is a classic with a trailer. Keith Fryer found one and took it for a spin. Here’s what he reckoned.
